A Program for Rabbis
Build Small-Scale Jewish Communities
While Augmenting Your Income
The Concept
The Judaism On Purpose™ process was developed for you, the “Concierge of Meaning” Rabbi, to reignite individualized, personalized meaning—based on Torah / Talmud teachings—in people’s lives. Extend your geographical outreach by utilizing Zoom meetings or conduct in-person gatherings, your choice. Seven groups of (up to) seven members each meet once a week for one hour per group for a total of 40 – 50 hours per year. Each member also meets with you individually for 12 monthly one-hour sessions plus an initial consultation for a total of 13 sessions during the year.
Comprised of seven topics, monthly group discussions are shaped according to the group’s needs and interests. The first topic is required. The remaining six are suggested as a framework for further discussion. Step-by-step instructions on how to prepare and facilitate these seven INside-out discussions include:
- Jews of Meaning© / Meaning and Accountability
- Remember Me: Create “A Soul Resume” for their children and grandchildren, which may also become an ethical will.
- Why Am I a Jew?: Other than as the result of birth and asking this question in Hebrew school, how often is this posed?
- Jewish Personal Financial Planning©: Aligning means with meaning.
- The MUZZle Tov Service©: A celebration, blessing, as well as seeing per a contest of essays ‘why my dog is Jewish’ how Jewish values are being transferred and internalized to children/grandchildren of Judaism On Purpose™ members.
- Torah Goes to the Movies: Each member watches a movie, writes up his or her thoughts regarding the movie’s relation to Torah, and gets together in a group once a month to share.
- JEWbulie (a.k.a Jubilee): Once a year, there is a potluck get together with all the Jews of Meaning© groups in a given geographical location.
Supplement Your Income
For a participant to join one of your groups, we would suggest a $100 membership fee. This goes entirely to you for a potential of — $50,000 to $60,000 per year– with 49 ongoing members. There are no fees for rabbis to gain access to this process.
Everything you need to get started is provided in the guidebook and there is availability for no cost licensing.
TESTIMONIALS
“You are gifted with a wit sorely lacking amidst our tribe these days, vanished and crushed by the myriad horror Zion congregational Bar and Bat Mitzvah factories.”
