Lenscrafting INside (Insight) Out

Analogous respectively to being farsighted or near sighted is the perspective lens of Outside In or INside/INsight Out.

Outside in defines oneself by externals accruing extrinsically to one’s ‘sense of self.’ ‘INside out’ intrinsically defines ‘one’s sense of self.’

That said, being near sighted can lead to being myopic – self-absorption and at worst, failing to be an example from the INside out. While just being farsighted is, as well at the extreme, at worst is self-idolatry ironically as one becomes dependent on the Outside for the inside for adulation.

You are to be a nation of priests unto Me

A light unto all nations

Judaically, one is to be an example – better done than said – being one’s message – eatin’ one’s own ‘homemade’ cooking…

And that takes lens crafting – refracting – of ‘I, I, I’ dilation of Outside In (however masked as feigned modesty in the name of social activism).

American Judaism’s largest denomination isn’t reform, orthodox, conservative let alone renewal, reconstructionist or even Jew It Yourselfers but social activism (liberals and progressive Democrats). Regardless of political agreement or not, the perspective lens is far sighting correction Outside In based on the concept of Tikkun Olam ‘to repair the world.’ The phrase Tikkun Olam has been hijacked, usurped, seized and revised from it’s original meaning ‘to establish the world under the Kingdom of God.’

Tikkun Olam – never meant – to repair this world, per se, but rather to establish the Kingdom of Heaven (in this world). And note, the word ‘olam’ means not only world – but hidden. Thus, how does one reconcile establish the hidden with repair the world? If anything, establishing the hidden – is an INside out job while repairing the world is Outside in (if that) externally driven. However, there is one benefit of the hijacked usurped Tikkun Olam allowing one to reach out to avoid reaching in.

The Shema

Notice the Shema starts with ‘hear’ not ‘see’ of Israel. Why? The eye is the organ of deception. But to hear – increases the probability of INsight refracting the lens – hearing/heeding INside out – without needing Blink™ or Vasine™.

(When on TV – friends comment how this writer ‘looked.’ On radio, the feedback was typically about the content of what I said.)

The delivery of and re-igniting of individualized meaning IN one’s life thru Judaic connection– cannot, in function or form, be provided by synagogue even if the shul, temple, synagogue wanted to. The sole concentration of Judaism On Purpose’s ™ process/system of refracting the delivery lens is to focus on 1 thing – meaning: individualized meaning which may actually result in being a potential stepping stone springboard back to Judaism.
